Business Owner User Guide

 

 

 

Setting up your business account


If your account has been created by a Tenerife.buzz rep and you want to access it for the first time:

1. Go to: https://marketing.tenerife.buzz/business_login

2. Click 'Forgotten your password?'

3. Enter your email address and hit 'Reset'

4. You will receive an email with instructions on how to set your password    

5. Log-in to the Business Dashboard



If you are creating a Business User account for the first time:

1. Go to: https://marketing.tenerife.buzz/business_login

2. Click 'Create Account'

3. Fill out your details and press 'Submit'

4. You will be taken straight into the Business Dashboard and have full control 


MANAGING YOUR ACCOUNT


You will be sent to 'My Account' by default when you sign into the Business Dashboard.

Change Login Details:

1. Click on your email address or 'Change password' under 'Administrator Details' on the right hand side

2. Enter the new details and click 'Update'



Add / Change Payment Details:


1. Simply fill out the fields under 'Bank Details'

2. Click 'Update'



Change Billing Address:

1. Fill out the fields under 'Billing Address' on the right hand side

2. Click 'Update'



View your Statements:

1. Click 'View' on the statement you want to see under 'Monthly Statements' on the left hand side



Enable or Disable Instant Messaging for your Business:


1. Click the switch next to 'Allow chat' under 'Administrator Details'

2. If the switch is blue, chat has been enabled



Managing Your Business Listing

Add your Business to Tenerife.buzz:

1. Select 'My Listings' from the Business Dashboard navigation tabs              

2. Click 'Create listing' on the right hand side with the red +

3. Fill out all the fields for your business (the more detail the better)

4. Hit 'Submit Your Free Listing' and your business will go live on the app instantly







Edit your Business Listing:

1. Click 'Edit' under your business listing

2. Make your changes

3. Click 'Submit Your Free Listing'



Managing Your Adverts

Advertise a Rental Property on the App:

1. Select 'My Ads' from the Business Dashboard navigation tabs

2. Click 'Create listing' on the right hand side with the red +

3. Fill out the fields with as much information as possible

4. Click 'Submit Your Free Ad' and it will go live on the app instantly






View Responses to your Advert(s):


1. Select 'My Ads' from the Business Dashboard navigation tabs

2. Click on the 'Enquiries' tab and you will see your active adverts and any enquiries



Managing Events


Post an Event on the App:

1. Select 'My Events' from the Business Dashboard navigation tabs 

2. Click 'Create event' on the right hand side with the red +

3. Fill out the event details, making sure to include an address and any pricing information

4. Click 'Submit Your Event' and it will go live on the app instantly



See your Sold Tickets:

1. If you have push and / or email notifications activated you will receive a notification whenever a customer purchases a ticket(s) for your event 

2. You can also review tickets sold by selecting the 'Events Purchased' tab within 'My Events' 


Managing Your Excursions


Advertise an Excursion on the App:

1. Select 'Excursions' from the Business Dashboard navigation tabs

2. Click 'Create excursion' on the right hand side with the red +

3. Fill out the excursion details, with as much information as possible

4. Click 'Submit Your Excursion' and it will go live on the app instantly






Review your Excursions:

1. Select 'Excursions' from the Business Dashboard navigation tabs 

2. Here you can see your live excursions and how many you have sold

3. If you have push and / or email notifications activated you will receive a notification whenever a customer purchases a ticket(s) for your excursion



creating and validating offers


Understanding Offer Types:

1. Pre-paid voucher - a voucher bought by a customer in the app. When they visit your business, they show proof of purchase to activate the discount.

2. Discount voucher - a customer claims the free voucher within the app and they show it when purchasing the discounted item at your business.

3. Loyalty stampcard - each time a customer purchases the advertised item they earn a stamp on the app. When they reach a pre-determined number of stamps the customer qualifies for the next item free.



Creating Offers:

1. Select 'My Offers' from the navigation tabs at the top of the dashboard

2. Click 'Create offer' on the right hand side

3. Fill out the details of your offer - you must choose your business from the associated listing options and must choose a start and end date

4. Ensure you have selected the correct offer type you want to advertise

5. When you have completed all the fields, click 'Submit your Voucher' at the bottom of the page and your offer will go live on the app




Using Stamp / Loyalty Offers:

1. When you create a stamp / loyalty offer a QR code will be automatically generated in the right hand corner

2. Click 'Download' and either print off your QR code or store it on your phone to show to a customer

3. When a customer wants to claim their stamp tell them to find your offer within Tenerife.buzz and click 'Start Using'

4. Then they must go to 'My Account' then 'Tickets & Vouchers' and select your offer

5. Then they must click 'Collect Stamp' and scan your QR code to claim their stamp



Review your Offers:

1. Select 'My Offers' from the Business Dashboard navigation tabs 

2. You can make changes to an offer by clicking 'Edit' 

3. You can see how many times your offers and discounts have been sold or redeemed 



Pre-paid and Discount Offers / Vouchers:

1. If a customer buys / claims one of these offers it will be stored in the 'Tickets & Vouchers' section of 'My Account' on their app

2. They then have to show you proof they have claimed / bought the offer to you to be eligible


Instant messaging


Enable or Disable Instant Messaging:

1. Select 'My Offers' from the Business Dashboard navigation tabs

2. Below 'Administrator Details' there is a switch next to 'Allow chat'

3. Blue means chat is enabled and customers can message you on the app, white if it is disabled



View and Send Instant Messages:


1. Select 'My Chats' from the Business Dashboard navigation tabs

2. On the left hand side you can see any active chats with customers or other businesses

3. Click on a name to bring up your instant messages with that person

4. Click in the 'Message' box to type and hit 'Send' to send a message

5. Alternatively, you can use the Tenerife.buzz app to manage and send instant messages
